Nov 26, 2006: An Open Letter From Mat Levine on the Recent Lacrosse Events within New York City, New Highschool Programs and a Fundraiser with Richie Moran, former Cornell Coach on Jan 18.

This is truly an exciting and historic time for lacrosse in New York City.  As reported by The New York Times, Fox News, MSG Sports Network, Lacrosse Magazine, and Lax.com Magazine, the sport is now reaching corners of the city that have never before had access to lacrosse.  Developed from the success of its 12-year-old Doc’s Lacrosse youth program, CityLax is now introducing lacrosse programs to public schools in Harlem and the Bronx.  This past season, we launched boys and girls lacrosse teams at A. Philip Randolph High School in Harlem.  A.P. Randolph was the first public school in Manhattan to ever play lacrosse.  With our continued support A.P. Randolph will enter its first full season of varsity competition this spring.
