2012 Southampton Shootout
Dear Lacrosse Friends:
Summer is almost here! So, get ready (that means suit up if you can) for the Fourth Annual CityLax Summer Hamptons Shootout Tournament and Fund-raiser! The tournament will be held on August 25th, 2012 at Southampton High School for the benefit of New York City Public School lacrosse. If you can put together a full team (men’s team 20 players: women’s team 15 players), contact CityLax volunteer Devon Kelley immediately at 804.377.1213 or at dgkelley25@gmail.com..
It’s almost Shootout time again!
The cost for a full team is $800 (a $300 team deposit is due on or before July 27; balance due August 10). Alternatively, if you and a few friends or former teammates want to sign up as free agents to play on one of our CityLax teams, the cost will be $60 per player. Either way, to sign up, please contact Devon Kelley to receive your Registration/Waiver form and send it in with your payment. For full teams, small groups, or individuals, make check payable and send to CityLax Inc., 65 West 89th St., NY, NY 10024. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up soon!
We hope that you will join us out at Southampton HS on August 25th as a player or as a spectator for a great day of lacrosse, community, and post tournament festivities (including our popular beach party). Our event has become a great final stop on the Summer Lax tour.

Fourth Annual CityLax Summer Shootout

Tournament Format:
- Full Field Play (3 grass and 1 turf)
- Guaranteed 3 Games; college and post-collegiate players invited; bring your club or form a special team
- Men’s and Women’s Divisions: $60 per person (College and Up), $800 per team
- Giveaways, Cool Summer Shootout fundraiser t-shirt for sale, and our special post tournament beach party
- Food, lacrosse gear, and apparel for sale
- All proceeds go to CityLax, a not for profit dedicated to growing lacrosse in NYC’s public schools

2011 Southampton Shootout Recap
The 2011 CityLax Southampton Shootout was a rousing success! Not only did we get a great turnout with entire teams and/or players from Hopkins, Princeton, Virginia, Harvard, Yale, Tufts, Amherst, Wesleyan, Sacred Heart, WNEC, Hofstra, and many more, but we also had a number of former (and one or two current!) Public School Athletic League players out on the fields!

The action was up and down and exciting, and the spirit of competition was alive and well. At the same time, there was an extremely positive vibe on the field, and everyone kept in mind that they were playing for charity. The Third Annual CityLax Southampton Shootout was a great time benefiting our cause, and we truly appreciate everyone who came out to play.
